SD-WAN: Improving Network Uptime and Performance

The emergence of the digital workforce across multi-location branch offices has prompted many organizations to revisit their traditional MPLS technology. Today’s anywhere, anytime-connected work environment uses a wide range of communication channels, including video conferencing and streaming, to collaborate across diverse geographical areas. Remote and work-at-home workers also rely on high performance networks to be productive. In a recent SD-WAN rollout with a manufacturing client, Magna5 boosted client network efficiency and uptime across 130 sites. The client had been experiencing frequent downtime and poor circuit performance. Magna5 installed low-cost edge devices at each location and improved real-time visibility into their network voice traffic and bandwidth usage. With SD-WAN’s continuous traffic orchestration and on-demand remediation, manufacturing sales and order processing were never delayed due to circuit issues.
